ms ahmed explained exactly what was going to happen and put me at ease straight away. after the surgery she came back and let me know how it all went in detail having had great care and compassion i can't thank ms ahmed and the staff at the RLI enough…. thank you

After a disappointing initial consultation with another doctor in March 2015, I requested a second opinion and met with Ms Ahmed. From the moment I walked through the door she was immediately attentive; she listened carefully to the problems I'd been experiencing, investigated my hearing issue with a microscopic camera, and discussed options to treat the problem. Last week I had a tympanoplasty procedure. Both Ms Ahmed and the staff in the Day Room were attentive, cheerful and took great professional care of me. Not having undergone a general anaesthetic before, I was put at ease immediately. Since the operation I feel very little pain and am just waiting for the pack to be removed from my eardrum. Unfortunately, I must record one disappointment in that I was not given any post operative advice when I left and I, therefore, had to research it - with successs - on the Internet. That said I am very happy that I went ahead with the operation.
